Our Mission
Our mission is simple yet profound: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need. We believe that every dog deserves a chance at a happy and fulfilling life, regardless of their past experiences. With this guiding principle, we tirelessly work to provide love, care, and support to the dogs who come into our care.
About Us
Notorious D.O.G Dog Rescue is registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity. We are dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for the dogs of Madison County, AL, and surrounding areas that need us the most.
We rescue dogs from overcrowded shelters, dangerous situations and neglectful environments, such as abusive households and puppy mills.
As a non-profit, we receive no funding or other assistance from the government. All of our funding comes from the community.
We use the funding we receive to provide a safe haven for the abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs in North Alabama, ensuring they receive the proper shelter, food and water, and veterinary care and love they deserve and desperately need in order to heal from the trauma they have endured through no fault of their own.
