Adopt and Foster With Us

Thank you for your interest in fostering with or adopting from us!

We are a private non-profit organization led by volunteers. Due to limited staffing and in an effort to reduce added stress for the animals in our care, we do not allow people to walk through our facility.

However, for those interested in meeting dogs, please read below for more information on our foster and adoption processes.

Interested in Adopting or Fostering?

1. Fill out the desired application linked below (complete the foster application if you are interested in taking a dog for an overnight, weekend, short- or long-term fostering, and foster-to-adopt).

2. Your application will be reviewed by our team within 3 business days. You will receive a response via the email you submitted your application through. Please remember to check your junk mail as well if you haven’t heard from us. If/when approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet at our rescue.

3. If you have current dogs in the home, we require them to be present at the meet and greet to ensure compatibility. If you have cats, they can stay at home. All family members are not required to be present, however, it is preferred if possible.

What Happens At A Meet and Greet?

Our team will work with you to find the best match based on the information in your application and while speaking with you. We will bring out each dog discussed as being a potential match. We will discuss moving forward with an official adoption or doing a short-term trial in your home. If you’re ready to make it official, we will complete the adoption contract on site.

Adoption fees are $150 and we accept Venmo, Cashapp, Paypal, cash or check.

If you’re not ready to make it official, we will offer a trial period in your home where you and the dog will learn if it’s the right fit. Once our trial waiver is signed, your trial can begin! We take all trials step by step keeping regular communication and guidance to help everyone feel at ease and have a successful trail run. If you decide it is a great fit, we will send the adoption contract via email. If it isn’t, the dog MUST be returned to us. We can try again with a different dog if desired.
