Hazel was found by Jemison High School in really poor condition with pneumonia and heartworms. It took months for her to fully recover but she did!
Hazel is our resident Shenanigans Queen and winner of the tuck your tail and run zoomies challenge! This girl loves to goof around and keep you guessing: will she play fetch or will she grab your phone and run?! Is there water around? She’s in it! Hoses, sprinklers, pools, she doesn’t care!
Hazel is a beautiful, goofy girl full of love but she should probably not be a home with small children she could knock into from her excitedness. She gets along best with males dogs who are on the submissive side and she hasn’t been cat tested so she should be the only pet in the house.
Hazel is now heartworm free and she loves to be active and enjoys a good hike. She has been here almost 2 years but we know her person or people are out there!
