    More Information About Heartworms

  • Karmel was found alone in the woods by a good samaritan, Karmel was too scared to be approached by the person but she followed them to their car and jumped in to safety!

Karmel is a gentle, affectionate soul. Her foster family reports that she is great with children, house trained, potty trained, crate trained, and sits nicely for nail trims!

Karmel is a very timid girl who is dog friendly but is submissive around all other dogs, including ones smaller than she is! We do not know how she is with cats.

Karmel is definitely a homebody, preferring not to stray too far from home and storms tend to frighten her. She will need a patient adopter who will work with her at her pace to socialize her outside the home. Inside the home, she is snuggly and loving. She is a quiet girl who even snores gently but she loves her squeaky and chew toys! We know she’s the key to complete any family!
