Caleb is a special soul who was pulled from a kill shelter. He is estimated to about 10 years old.
Caleb is deaf and has little vision left but don’t let his age and disabilities deter you.
This little ol’ man is the perfect blend of Clint “Get Off My Lawn” Eastwood and Mr. Rogers. It doesn’t sound like it’d work, but it does, and here he is in all his glory!
In the short time he has been with us, he immediately became a volunteer favorite. He is the sweetest little ol’ man who likes to occasionally bark orders as he lounges in his kennel and watches all the activity in the rescue as our volunteers move about.
Caleb enjoys a nice walk so he can show off his adorable little ol’ man tippy-taps as he struts—yes, struts everywhere he goes! He is a true gentleman on leash and enjoys a good bark and strut in his sweater so he make sure all know he’s the fashion forward senior man about town!
He keeps his kennel clean and while his vision is impaired, his nose is not and he never misses a treat or someone walking by his kennel with a food bowl.
Caleb needs a home where he can aggressively nap in the comfiest and coziest spot without interruption and also judge the neighborhood at his leisure. We believe he would do best in a home without young children or high energy dogs so he can fully enjoy the retirement lifestyle.
