Casper was pulled from a rural high kill shelter where they determined his time was up. Because of this, it has taken some time for him to realize that not all humans see him as disposable.
Casper is a stunning 2 year old medium size mixed breed who is coming out of his shell. He now enjoys all the attention and affection he can get and will even curl up in your lap!
Casper is huge fan of all food but especially peanut butter! He is dog friendly but seems to prefer female playmates and having a gentle, confident dog buddy helps him immensely with feeling more secure.
Casper is a great mix of affectionate and independent. Here at the rescue, he will wait patiently in his kennel to be let out, goes right out of the building and waits to be let into the yard, then goes about his business. He is content sniffing about by himself or with other dogs and is ready at all times for treats and snuggles!
