Effe, and her sister Kehlu, were found trapped inside a crate that looked like it was thrown into the ditch of a rural road. The girls were discovered by a good samaritan who heard their cries.
Effe is a gorgeous dark brindle and we believe she may be a Formosan Mountain Dog Mix. She is coming on 2 years old and is petite at 45 pounds.
This young lady is marking all the boxes as her foster family reports she is an excellent house guest who is potty trained, crate trained, walks nicely on leash, knows several commands, and she sits well for a bath, ear cleaning, and nail trims!
Effe is an adorably goofy girl who is like a natural anti-depressant—you simply can’t be anything other than joyful when in her presence. She loves a nice walk or hike or romping around a yard with people or other dogs but she also loves showering you with kisses and hugs. While out on walks, she has encountered stray cats seems unconcerned with them.
Effe has been with us for nearly a full year but she has so much to offer no matter what your family looks like—a person living solo or married with kids—this little gem will complete your family!
