Obie holds the Guinness Book of World Records for being the largest living Chihuahua! Just kidding. He’s just a super-sized cuddle bug!
Obie is potty trained, crate trained, loves walks and hiking, and is the best co-pilot anyone could ask for!
This big boy will need an experienced adopter who is familiar with handling large dogs. Obie is not a fan of cats and he has no idea how big and strong he is and he could easily knock down a child in his excitement. At this time, we recommend there not be any other dogs in the home as Obie is resource guarding toys and food. We believe with time and consistent training, he may be able to overcome this and realize he no longer needs to guard. Obie does play with other dogs, however, all food stuff and toys must be removed while he is around other dogs.

Obie is the kind of guy who, no matter how much time passes, will look at you like he did the day he laid eyes on you—like you’re the only person in the world! He’ll never give up.
